МПС I – прогрессирующее заболевание2, в котором выделяются три подтипа, Синдром Гурлера (МПС I-H), синдром Гурлера – Шейе (МПС I-H/S) и синдром Шейе (МПС I-S).3 Причина каждого из подтипов МПС I – дефицит фермента α-L-идуронидазы, который необходим для расщепления гемагликоминогликанов (ГАГ) гепарансульфата и дерматансульфата2,4 , вследствие чего возникают прогрессирующие проявления, затрагивающие разные системы органов.2
